Solicitors for the Elderly – Award Success

By May 22, 2015Announcements

Rebecca Reid of the Wills, Probate and Trusts Department has recently completed the Older Client Care in Practice Award (OCCP) accredited by Solicitors for the Elderly.

Solicitors for the Elderly prides itself on having a membership who focus on evidencing and building good older client service and communications. Its members strive to be able to communicate and translate legal expertise into clear explanations of the options to our clients and their families and guiding them through the process sensitively and with compassion.

Rebecca’s recent completion of this award reinforces her full membership of Solicitors for the Elderly and demonstrates the importance that MacDonald Oates LLP places on its professional development for staff as well as leading client service, tailored to the specific needs of the client as their life progresses. The interpersonal soft skills and ability to communicate well with older clients is a skill that all members of our Wills, Probate and Trusts department share. We find that our clients use us at what can be difficult times in their lives due to their confidence in our empathetic but experienced and professional approach.
