Success for the Litigation Team

We are pleased to announce that Patrick Jenkins, Partner and Head of the firm’s Litigation Team, based at our Petersfield office has become a full member of The Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS). The Association is a nationally recognised body which seeks to promote expertise for lawyers dealing with contentious trust and probate cases.

Patrick achieved full membership status having already successfully completed the Association’s Education Course and after having been an Associate Member for the past two years.

On being accepted as a Member of ACTAPS, Patrick commented, “Having previously been an Associate Member, becoming a full Member of ACTAPS is a real privilege and a great achievement. The Association actively promotes an approach to dealing with contentious trust and probate cases in the quickest and most cost effective way through its Code of Conduct. Membership of this highly regarded Association not only allows existing clients of the firm and potential new clients looking for representation to be reassured that we follow that approach to dispute resolution ourselves, but that their case will be handled by a specialist practitioner in this field.”

At MacDonald Oates we offer specialist, tailored advice to our clients seeking advice in respect of both contentious and non-contentious matters and in addition to Patrick becoming a full member of ACTAPS, our private client team also includes members of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
