Career History

Clare read Law at the University of Southampton gaining an LLB with Honours before going on to complete the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, Guildford. Clare undertook her training contract with a well-established firm in Southampton before joining MacDonald Oates in April 2014.

Clare completed the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Diploma for England and Wales (Trusts and Estates) and is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). She has also been awarded the SFE (Solicitors for the Elderly) accreditation, which sets the standards for the highest quality legal advice in specialist areas, such as wills, powers of attorney and elder abuse. Clare is also on the STEP Central Southern Committee.

Personal

Clare enjoys getting creative with crafts and joining in community events. She is a keen gardener, enjoys cooking and is an active member of Young Farmers where she has previously been club secretary.
