James is a Partner and Head of the firm’s Wills, Probate & Trusts department at the Midhurst office.

James is also the firm’s Compliance Partner.

Career History

James attended the University of Durham where he obtained a BSc in Mathematics. He subsequently attended the University of Westminster where he obtained his Post Graduate Diploma in Law and Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice with Distinction.

He trained at MacDonald Oates and was Admitted as a solicitor in 1997, becoming a Partner in 2001.

James successfully obtained Membership of the Society of Trust and Estate Practioners (STEP) Diploma for England and Wales (Trusts and Estates) with Distinction.

In his spare time James enjoys horse riding, cycling and drinking red wine.
