Hair to spare? Donate it to charity!

A New Year often motivates us to change the way we look. It may be a new diet, more exercise or a new hair cut. However, when Becca Ashton, a member of our Family team, had her hair cut, her motivation was something a bit different.

As you can see  from the photos, Becca had long hair but had decided to donate it to The Little Princess Trust, which is a charity providing real hair wigs, free of charge, to boys and girls across the UK and Ireland that have lost their own hair through cancer treatment.

Becca says, “Having known someone who lost their hair due to cancer, I was mindful of how much it can effect them. I wanted to do something that can help others in that situation, especially  young children who may not understand why their friends have hair and they now don’t. If you have long hair, why not pass it on to this amazing cause – it will always grow back!”
