An Evening at Canine Partners

This summer, MacDonald Oates attended a Canine Partners Information Evening at their centre in Heyshott.

The evening involved a presentation explaining the various aspects of Canine Partners. We were also treated to demonstrations by a young puppy and a more mature dog showing what they were capable of. Opening washing machines and doors were made to look effortless!

A lady who’d had a canine partner for many years gave us a talk and a slideshow about her life with her canine partner. This really hit home what a difference these dogs make to people’s lives.

It was a great evening and we would like to thank Canine Partners for allowing us an insight into the wonderful work they do. The evening has provided much inspiration for our fundraising efforts for Canine Partners as our charity of the year. We have several exciting events in the pipeline.
