Maternity, paternity and adoption From 7 April 2019
Statutory maternity, paternity and adoption pay

Sickness From 6 April 2019
Statutory Sick Pay £94.25

 

National Minimum Wage From 1 April 2019
Age 21 and upwards £7.70 per hour
Age 18 – 20 £6.15 per hour
Age 16 – 17

£4.35 per hour

 

Apprentices £3.90 per hour
National Living Wage From 1 April 2019
 Age 25 and upwards  £8.21 per hour

 

Compensation Limits in Employment Tribunal From 6 April 2019
Limit on a week’s pay £525 max
Compensatory award in unfair dismissal The lower of £86,444 or 52 weeks gross pay

The caps on compensation and on a week’s pay are not applied in certain limited circumstances, for example whistleblowing claims and failures to consult under TUPE and in collective redundancy matters. There is no cap on compensation for claims for discrimination.
